About Elise
Elise Anderson is the Principal Harpist for the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra.
She was featured as the guest soloist during the 2012-2013 season playing a premier performance of Sonando en Espagnole by Deborah Hansen-Conant. Elise is a frequent guest artist with the Western Colorado Chorale under the direction of Dr. Monte Atkinson. She has also been featured with the Glenwood Springs Symphony in the Valley performing the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto. Elise attended the Aspen Music Festival for two years, studying with Nancy Allen harp principal for the New York Philharmonic and Julliard School of music. Elise received her music degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London studying under Mannon Morris and London Symphony Orchestra principal harpist Bryn Lewis. Past performances include playing with Kanye West at Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Bernadette Peters at the Wheeler Opera House and Feast, a Celtic/Classic cross-over band. Elise is originally from Denver, Colorado and is also a Financial Advisor.
